- Coding Lexis
At the moment, CALF only includes the functions of calculating lexical formality (Bei, 2011; Heylighen & Dewaele, 2002) and lexical density.
No Special coding is needed as long as the %mor lin is accurately generated and checked. CALF will automatically generate results for the F-score (lexical formality) and lexical density.
Please refer to Section 1.2.3 for how to code POS, which is essential in these lexical calculations.
*As mentioned in 1.2., if lexical formality and lexical density are not your concerns, then you can leave the %mor line unchecked after the post routine. Otherwise, manual checking is necessary for accuracy.
